Boys Golf Opens With A Team Victory

Boys golf opened up their season today with a solid win over Central High School (197 – 242). The Sharks victory was led by junior Mike Giardino with 41.  Sophomore, Adam Mause, and junior, Connor Charboneau, both had scores in the 49s.  The win was a team effort with Joe Goebel and Nick Danchise also contributing.

Girls Golf Defeats Central

The Nature Coast girls golfers kicked off the home opener today with a win over Central 231 – 282. The Sharks were led by 9th grader Miranda Hernandez who started off her high school career shooting an impressive 37, which is tied for the 2nd best score in school history. Athletic Event Guidelines

In an effort to help control interactions and limit the spread of COVID-19, The Gulf Coast 8 Conference has established Athletic Event Guidelines.  We ask for your cooperation and patience as we continue to work through these times.


Nature Coast Technical High School Administration and Athletic Department name 2015 alumnus, Conner Schwefringhaus the Boy’s and Girl’s Head Cross Country Coach. Schwefringhaus returned to his Alma Mater in 2019 to teach Math and spent last year as a volunteer coach under his predecessor Eric Milholland.  He graduated in 2019 from Florida Gulf Coast University


Nature Coast Technical High School Administration and Athletic Department name Brandon Derespiris as the new Head Varsity Baseball Coach.  Derespiris, who is a 2008 Nature Coast graduate, succeeds Frank Vitale. Last year Nature Coast hired Derespiris as a Physical Education teacher.  This year he will serve as a Social Studies teacher and Head Varsity Baseball
